We aim to build confident women of character who celebrate sisterhood and make a difference in the world around us.
A sisterhood where you can be your authentic self.
We give back to our communities through volunteering, donations, and service.
We promote a lifelong commitment to both intellectual and personal growth.
We foster enduring friendships that are true and constant even long after graduation.
We provide our sisters an enduring connection with women who are strong alone, but stronger together.
The pink carnation was chosen because it is lasting and enduring, just like Gamma Phi Beta.
In 1915, Gamma Phi Beta started a contest to choose its crest. The winning design, submitted by a UC Berkeley student, is still in use today. The crest represents our values of love, labor, learning, and loyalty.
Brown & Mode
Our colors are Brown and Mode, which is a lighter brown. The color Brown was chosen for the Professor of our Founders.
Our symbol is the waxing crescent moon, which represents the growth of our sorority.
Founded Upon A Rock
We believe sisterhood is true and constant.
